How to apply

Submit by monday, january 12th, 2026

Turn in your completed application to either main office or by email:

Your application must include:

Candidate bio, resume, and cover letter
Three essays: My Club Experience, What Matters to Me, Personal Growth
1–3 minute speech summarizing your essays
Two recommendation letters: one from a Club representative and one from a community member

Interviews & Selection

Interviews for the Organizational Level Youth of the Year will take place the week of January 19, 2026. We’ll contact you to schedule a time. One student will be chosen to be the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Santiam Organization Youth of the Year, receive the $1,000 scholarship, and move on to the State-Level Youth of the Year!
